Maximiles points

My next recommendation for genuine paid surveys is MAXIMILES.

These are a little different, in that you receive points not only for completing surveys, but they offer a reward points scheme as well, if you buy certain items by going through their site.

You can redeem your points when you have enough, not for cash but for things like cds, dvds, HMV voucher, clothing, electronics, and all manner of things, so this is a pretty cool way of getting free stuff for yourself or to give as gifts to friends or family.  If you collect enough points, you can even get things like a free ipod or a kindle!

They also have regular competitions to win prizes, the last one was for a £500 amazon voucher!

GMI genuine paid surveys

So, welcome to my first recommendation for genuine paid surveys:

GMI, also known as GLOBAL TEST MARKET

These are pretty easy and straightforward to join, and they have 2 types of surveys:

1. You accumulate points which you can cash in for money into a paypal account or receive a cheque

2. You get entries into a daily prize draw for every survey you complete.

The surveys are pretty quick to do, and there seem to be quite a lot of them available.

You also get some points just for joining up and filling out your profile details, so that’s a pretty easy way to make money online!

After my previous experience with getting paid for my opinions, I recently started to look properly online at what else was available, and finding out if there were any more genuine paid surveys out there, so i did a quick online search.

The results were overwhelming – there are a huge amount of companies offering to show you how to find genuine paid surveys, and other ways of making money online.

BUT ….

There seemed to be one very big catch – a lot of these companies were asking for some sort of payment to enrol you on their panels, which sent alarm bells ringing in my head.  I have always been of the opinion that if someone is asking you to pay them money upfront so you can work for them, then it is a TOTAL SCAM – you should not have to pay to work from home – the idea is that THEY PAY YOU!

I have spent several evenings online sifting through all the ways of making money online through genuine paid surveys, and what I have discovered is this:

Despite the alarmingly high number of scam artists who are asking for a payment upfront, which I personally have disregarded, there are also a number of 100 percent genuine paid surveys, where genuine market research companies are happy to pay you for your opinions.

There are different types of rewards on offer:

Some companies will enter you into a prize draw, and give you so many entries per survey completed – again a few alarm bells ringing here, as there is no guarantee of actually making any money this way.

There are also companies which give you points which equate to actual money, which seems to be the way forward for me personally.

I have no objection to spending a few hours a week doing surveys and answering questions, as long as I know I will be receiving payment at the end of it – this is a genuine work from home opportunity in my opinion.  I am not naieve enough to think that I will in any way make a full-time wage from getting paid for my opinions, but a little extra money here and there always helps pay for life’s little luxuries!

So, I have made it my mission on this blog to highlight all the genuine paid surveys I can find, while sifting through all the scam artists out there, and hopefully make some money online in the process.

On my next post I will start talking you through some of the companies I have found offering genuine paid surveys, with no payment from you, and if I can help a few of you earn a little extra by working from home then that is a bonus in my opinion!

Thanks for reading.

Hi. My name is Daryl, and I have started this blog to tell you a little bit about my experiences with genuine paid surveys, and hopefully point you in the right direction to find some websites that are quite willing to offer payment in cash for your opinions!

It all started a few months ago.  I was at home one day, and there was a canvasser at my door, asking to do a little bit of market research.  I didn’t have anything in particular to do, and the poor woman looked quite harassed and hot and bothered (it was a scorching hot summer’s day), so I asked her in to have a cold drink and a rest, and said I would answer her questions as all her i.d. checked out and she looked genuine.

She was with me around half an hour, and asked me a whole range of questions, ranging from the type of washing powder I used to the type of clothes I bought my children, and everything in between.  She also promised me a couple of pounds in vouchers to use in the high street, which she gave me as promised at the end of the interview, so I was happy enough with that.

At the end of the interview, she asked for my email address, and said that I would be able to do another genuine paid survey online if I wanted to, for which I would receive payment in cash afterwards.  This sounded promising because I was interested in making money online, so thought I would give it a try. A couple of days later I received an email from the company (I cannot remember what they were even called now!), with a link and a login code, and was told it was a series of 3 different surveys, each one taking around half an hour, and that at the end I would receive payment in cash in the post.

I clicked on one of the links, and started doing the survey.  It was quite a long survey, but the good thing about it was that I could have the window open in my browser, and just keep coming back to it in between the other things I was doing online.  I answered all of the questions for the first survey over one evening, in between surfing the web and doing the sort of stuff I normally do online, and when i submitted the finished survey there was a message saying I would receive another email link in the next couple of days.

To cut a long story short, I completed the 3 surveys over the next few days, as I was a little busy, and just kept saving the survey and coming back to it, and at the end I submitted my name and address, and left it at that.  The following week I received a letter from the company thanking me for my time, and inside was an envelope.  I opened the envelope, and there was a payment in cash for £15.00!

I was over the moon, I had discovered a way to make money online, with no catch or scam, and had been paid for my opinions as promised! I didn’t hear from that company again, and had a few really busy months after that, but it led me to do an internet search recently for similar ways of making money online, and this blog will be all about what I have found out, and my recommendations for the genuine paid surveys I have found.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and please bookmark me and join me on my voyage into making money online, and getting paid for my opinions!
